The Wales international has fallen out of favour at the Santiago Bernabeu and is expected to leave after a disappointing season in which he scored just 12 goals in 38 appearances.
Bale joined Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 for a then world record fee of £85m and has since won four Champions League titles but struggled with injuries during his time in Spain.

The France striker, 31, first joined the Blues on loan from Arsenal in January 2018 before making his move permanent last summer.
He has made just seven starts in all competitions this season and scored three goals as Alvaro Morata’s understudy at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea Confirm Rudiger Has Sustained A Meniscus Injury
Chelsea have confirmed that defender Antonio Rudiger has suffered a meniscus injury, which is expected to keep him out for around six weeks.
The German international sustained the injury during Chelsea’s friendly against Perth Glory on Sunday (July 16).
Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri said: “He has an issue in his knee and will not be available soon.”
Rudiger is likely to miss the Community Shield match against Manchester City at Wembley Stadium on Sunday (August 5).
